Folks: I'm running into such high costs with my Wagner line deeds and probate records, with the deeds office charging $12 per name and they already got $12 just to send me the stuff on Henry alone, and my Wagner ancestors spelled their name 5 ways, and probate records of people who died intestate with minor children that are 20 pages long, at $1 a page, and I don't even need complete copies in most cases, just the info in them, that I think it may be cheaper to hire someone to go to these records to research them for me. I couldn't even get the tax office to tell me how to get 1770 to 1830 tax records, with $5 and a SASE. Can anyone suggest some reliable researchers who don't need $200 up front?
