Stanford and anyone doing the Boyer family, I am a little late doing the mail the last few weeks. I noticed your posting just today to the PA Dutch list of last Thursday, which requested the parents of Maria Miller. In that posting you mention Lydia BOYER. I have an interest in the BOYER family, especially since so far I have been unable to find a connection for my grandmother's grandmother, Amelia BOYER. Amelia married John GEIST and is listed in the Geist Relation book. It gives her birth as Rogersford, Montgomery county, in 1832 and says she died in Ashland, Schuykill county, in 1916. You've mentioned Lydia being born in 1834 and, as her husband was born in Montgomery county, perhaps she was too. The ages are appropriate for the two to be sisters. Do you have any information on Lydia's family at all? I'd welcome being able to connect Amelia with her parents and siblings. Do please let me know what you think the possibilities are.
