    3. Try Dutch-Colonies-List@Rootsweb.com. Check (search) the archives for that surname. And check Newcastle County, Delaware, as well as Bucks Co, PA, and possibly southern NJ --Salem and Gloucester Counties --I believe also there might be a connection or two in Monmouth or Middlesex County, perhaps Hunterdon Co. Why would the surname have been changed? Was your great-grandfather adopted by a stepfather?
