    2. Keith, Have you tried Joyce Tice's site: http://www.rootsweb.com/~srgp/jmtindex.htm None of your lines seems to be hers, so she cannot help you directly, but the site is a wealth of info for Bradford and Tioga Counties. The Historical Society in Wellsboro, PA handles much of the area and I have found them quite helpful. You could email them and ask if they have familiy files on any of those spellings to see if it's worthwhile. Their files are pretty extensive. Also, they do have a huge wall of church records you really don't see anywhere else. Toss out that church name and who knows! Locals of the area may recognize "Fallows Farm". I know we were looking for a graveyard on Armenia Mountain and we had to rely on locals memories and a field trip (I mean mountain trip!). This is probably another questions for the historian at the Historical Society. Last idea- some of my Tioga ancestors showed up in NY records in counties sharing the border. I wouldn't rule out checking that either. Good Luck to you in your quest! Penny

    1. May Say
    2. Joan Meddaugh
    3. Still looking for information about a May Say who married David L. Schwartz/Swartz before 1877. May have lived in Lancaster Co. Pa. At least that is what I have found out from a note written by his daughter Marjorie Schwartz/Swartz/Scott in the little bit of history that I do have about his first marriage. He may have had two children by his first wife. Vinta, Tenta also called Movinta Schwartz/Swartz born Nov. 1877 or 78 in Oil City, PA. There might have been a son Jerald or Gerald born later on but not after 1885 which is when he married my grandmother Nora Wheeler of Allegheny in Catt. Co. NY. If any one on this list happens to be in the vicinity of Oil City and can check on the birth of Vinta I sure would appreciate it. Thank you so much for any and all help. Joan Beebe Meddaugh Granddaughter of David L. Schwartz/Swartz and Nora C. Wheeler Schwartz

Amazing that Michael's mother's maiden name is given. His brother Gottfried is my great greatgrandfather. The family moved to Clarion Co. in 1839. Your J. G. was named after his grandfather.
