They are next found in North Huntington,Pa 1850. I have the childrens names and am trying to establish whether his father was John Breneman born 1870 in Lancaster Pa. and whether John's father was Daniel.Frederick was born around 1806. Fred's children were Mary Frances,1837-Jonathon1841-Daniel 1844,Martha1844-Elizabeth 1846-Mary1848-Emaline1852-Amanda 1854 and Zenas1858 It appears most of the children were born in Pa. On Lancaster census 1860 age 38, in area of Sadsbury with wife Susan aka Frymeyer/Frymire/Starr & their children.Stated that all parents born in Pa.Trying to go back another generation. Sometime after 1863 & before 1870 Emanuel left family for work & never returned. So many Snyder families & no clues. Named his sons John, Isaac & William & daughters Margaret & Emma. Susan(Frymeyer or other spellings)was a widow of James Starr & had one child Mary before marriage to Snyder. Anyone researching Snyder families from Lancaster or close areas. Vicki

She was also born in Dover York Co. Pa. From her obituary, I learned she had a brohter Edward but that is all the information I have on her immediate family. She married Israel Meisenhelder. They moved to York in 1883 & this is where they both died being buried in Greenmount cemetery. Any information on this branch of the Stough family will be greatly appreciated. Thank You Cheryl Lutz

All our family knows is that he was in WW1 in the Calvary. When he got out of the service he was a Sheriff in Carlisle or Chambersburg, PA. He was born October 1894 and was married to a lady named Amelia (?), and I don't have her maiden name. They separated during WW1. I don't have any other information except that his brothers called him Whitie, and his brothers names were Herbert, Irvin and a sister Isabel. His mother was Bertha V. (Stover) Snyder and his father was Irvin G. Snyder. If anyone knows what happened to him or any other information it would be appreciated. Thanks, Marla

The Norma he married was very likely my grandmother. I knew her as Norma B. Wood, San Antonio, TX. She had two children, Clifford and Wilbur Herbert. Wilbur, d. 11-2-1997, kept the Griest name while Clifford took the name of Wood, Norma's second husband. Wilbur was my father. Do you have any information on this?
