Ron, I believe that there were several families that moved out of this area and into Ohio in the late 1840's or early 1850's. I know that four of my ancestor's (michael Danner) siblings packed up their families and moved to Ohio during this time frame and I believe several other Northampton families did the same. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mary Alice" <m22shul@provide.net> To: <PADUTCHgenONLY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, May 17, 2000 11:41 AM Subject: Re: [PaDgo] PA Dutch Movement > > -----Original Message----- > From: Ron Richardson <coach@nccoast.net> > To: PADUTCHgenONLY-L@rootsweb.com <PADUTCHgenONLY-L@rootsweb.com> > Date: Wednesday, May 17, 2000 6:31 AM > Subject: [PaDgo] PA Dutch Movement > > >
I think most movement will coincide with the opening of westrn lands for settlement. Ie" Platte Land Grants" Etc. 1830 seems to be a key time for the Musser family to Ohio. 1820 to Mo.
