    2. Hey Listers! Here's a free site for the next 10 days on Ancestry's Website: LANCASTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA HISTORY Bordered by the Susquehanna River in southeastern Pennsylvania, Lancaster County was created in 1729 from neighboring Chester County. This database, originally published in 1883, is a county history and collection of biographical sketches. 1. [PaDgo] Re: MOSER > MOSSER > MESSER
    2. I am currentley resarching the line of Christian Musser who died in Coshocton , OH. His revolutionary records show him as MESSER. His pension is MESSER; The 1800 census is MUSSER. A eed in 1840 has the name spelled Messer and Musser on the same deed. I think it was largley a matter of phonetics and the fact a majority could not spell or read and write. (X)
