I have a genealogy of John (Johann) and Maria (Gebhardt) Young (Jung). It was compiled by CharlesW. & Marvin O. Young in 1969. Names & dates of descendants who lived in the 18th Century have come mostly from the records of Springfield & Nockamixon Churches in Bucks County, PA. There are no dates for John & Maria, but they had 8 children. Their son, John Young, Jr. had 12 children. One of his daughter, Leah Young Mack (1825-1903) was my ggg grandmother. I doubt this is any help to you, but am passing it along. Hi - I am looking for any information on Yew NEY and his wife, Ellen BOYER. They had the following children baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, South Manheim Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA: Benita Bertha, Daniel Lester, and Fay Bernice. These all took place between 1929 and 1934. Also, I am looking for anyone with connections to the NEY/NEU family that attended St. Paul's. Thank you for any help! Gregory
Hi Joan - I'm sorry, but I didn't come across any Blanks in the two books. Gregory

Ashley Forgot to mention, I think you mean Royersford, Montgomery County, not Rogersford. To my knowledge there is no Rogersford in Montgomery County. There is a Rogersville and a Rogertown in Pa., but these are in the southwestern and nortwestern corners of the state. I have an interest in the BOYER family, especially since so far I have been unable to find a connection for my grandmother's grandmother, Amelia BOYER. Amelia married John GEIST and is listed in the Geist Relation book. It gives her birth as Rogersford, Montgomery county, in 1832 and says she died in Ashland, Schuykill county, in 1916. You've mentioned Lydia being born in 1834 and, as her husband was born in Montgomery county, perhaps she was too. The ages are appropriate for the two to be sisters. Do you have any information on Lydia's family at all? I'd welcome being able to connect Amelia with her parents and siblings. Do please let me know what you think the possibilities are. Ashley I am not researching the Boyer family but do have a possible link for you if you can relate to Catherine Boyer (dates unknown) who married Daniel Schwenk 5/5/1761-2/26/1838. Daniel was the son of George Schwenk and Veronica Markley (dodderer Line) and substantial detail is available on all three of these families. I can provide some of it if you can make the link. Hi - I possess copies of records from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in South Manheim Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA. I have baptisms from 1788 to 1945 and the cemetery directory. I would be willing to look up any information in these two books for anyone who asks. Gregory

This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Moyer, Krise Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/3dB.2ACI/5993.1 Message Board Post: Hi Michelle! Sorry I have nothing directly on your Mary Moyer. My Mary Moyer was b. 40 yrs. prior. I do have an Elizabeth Krise. The info I have on her is scarce. She belongs to a colateral line not closely related to mine. I can only give y what I have to possibly give you a clue where to hunt for your Mary. Elizabeth Krise was married sometime prior to 1859 to Milton D. Carpenter in St. Joseph County, MI. They had a daughter, Mina R. Carpenter who was born in Mendon, St. Joseph Co., MI on 15 Jul 1859. I have nothing regarding who Elizabeth's parents were or anything else. Mina married Soloman "Wesley" Schick/Shick in 1888 and they were residing in Moore Park, St. Joseph Co, MI when she had a son (Floyd) in 1891. Mina & "Wesley"'s son was married in 1912 in Lee's Summit, MO. Moore Park was a small village (barely evident today) near Three Rivers, MI and not too far from Mendon. Wish I could help more. If I do run across more, I'll let you know. Claudette in MI
