Hello everyone!  I hope that you are all warm and dry.  The snow has stoppedd for now and only left us with about 8" which isn't too bad.  The dogs love it and so do the kids.  They did get the plows through this afternoon.  I understand that we are supposed to get another storm  Monday night.  Could be interesting....   Becky

Hi Becky and all, We had 28 inches and more to come on Tues and Wed. Wouldn't you know, the snow blower crapped the bed before the job was done. OH, well. I was warm and safe inside. well, as long as i can reply to these emails i can send to the list, so trying again. I was just reading that Washington DC got socked. 2 1/2 feet, & a record of the perfect stuff for the making of snowmen. I remember that from living there. I'm just listening to country music, & answering emails. 8 inches is allot, but not bad, for one storm. Are you all expecting more though? I know if Cleveland gets/got any of that they probably got allot more than that. I remember my sister said they had about 2 1/2 feet in one storm last year! But they get lake effect snows. Hey Anna, from OH how much did you all get up your way? Anna is near-by to my sister. Is your sister doing better? My son has kept me up overnight here, because we had winds here overnight that has brought cold air down probably from the same storms that you got socked with! Hey Tracy what kind of weather you got up your way? Is the lady that does the CW costumes for reenactments still online on the list. I've been enjoying going to the reenactments, & so exciting! My husband & boyas sure have enjoyed going, especially We've gone to 2, but due to go next week, & from what I was reading on the net, it's a biggie. People being taken to the place by buses. My husband says we'll go there its in the Jacksonville area, Lake City, it's called Battle at Olustee. we went to "THe Brooksvilel raid" & Battle of Townsend Plantation" It's been interesting learning about the CW from the confederate viewpoint, knowing I'm a yankee parentage. I tell me boys, that the soldiers are all friends though! We've bought some books, from an author that has been to both we've been to. He was selling books that he authored, & videos. We had a windy weekend, & its supposed to get in the 30-40's tonight, & had 70's just 24 hours ago. Weird weather, but I like the changes, but still think people are weird here, this time of year, because it's cold here, & some people are wearing shorts, and I've got jeans & a sweater or jacket on! Oh well takes all kinds to make the world a great place!
