out here in NorCal we're hanging on to our hats with hurricane force winds and now rain...so glad we don't "get" hurricanes out here. I'm not exactly a small girl and got nearly blown across a parking lot--thank G-d for a pole I was able to hold onto or I might be in PADutch country by now! I'm still here too. had cataract surgery on the 11th of this month in my right eye, and will have the left one done on the 4th of March. Getting used to this artificial lens they put in my eye and being able to see without glasses. Have to use reading glasses, though, and finally getting used to that so I can use the computer. I swear the Weather Channel said the East Coast was/is getting hurricane force winds and the barometer is down. Plus they're getting a low overtop that is spinning counter-clockwise. We're having some mighty strange weather this winter!     Today is so-so. Sun is trying to shine, the wind is blowing with big gusts, the temps are down but not cold (yet). They say we are to have rain and storms all day. Thought we heard thunder earlier. Tomorrow is to be mid-60's and sunny.
