    1. [PD-LIFE] Directions to house & Class Reunion

    3. Yes, Connie, you did need them and hopefully someday can use them :o) Sally, You are a riot! Though I would have made a HUGE spaghetti dinner for them all once they got here ;o) At least have the stuff for my mother-in-law's birthday dinner the end of August. I'm lurking now and then, but had a few jobs like get the carpet that I unwound by using my vacuum cleaner :o( out of the vacuum cleaner brush. Spent most of yesterday doing that a little at a time, and swept down the spiderwebs from the front door and windows, porch ceiling and pillars, only to have them spin again before the men get here to do the work. Who knows when that will be. I'm sure their full schedules for the summer are in FULL swing, and they are trying to FIT us in, because of the borough holding them up for 3 months. Oh well, at least that gable is up, and it looks like my neighbor's insurance company is going to honor her claim to fix her roof_thank God! We're going to pay her deductible for her_though we shouldn't because when they tore down their historic outhouse (which was connected to our back wall) we had to put out a few thousand dollars to brace our wall, and that didn't come under insurance. But, we will be good neighbors and just pay their deductible. I CAN'T wait until this is over. I have my flowers all coming in hardy, and all my porch furniture cleaned off, and it really looks nice out there; but, alas, as I told Mike last night, you watch, when John and Joyce get here, that is the day they will decided to start fixing the house, and it will be all torn up again. Speaking of class reunions, we really enjoyed my 25th, but now I have to wait for the 40, because somehow I didn't receive the notice they sent me about the 30th & 35th. Now that I am in contact with my childhood friend, who works at the high school, she is going to make sure she tells the girl handling it to let her know when she sends it to me, then she will email me to let me know it's in the mail. She said that my invitation went out the last two reunions we had, and they were looking for me to show up_now they know why I didn't :o( Our class had 952, and I believe much more than half showed up at the 25th reunion, and we were planning on getting together, just the ones from Glenside, at a reunion every year after that, but I guess it just didn't come about. They were going to hold it at Blue Marsh. I'll have to find out if they ever did, if I remember to ask in 2011 :o) Right, I'm going to remember :o) Hey Cuz! So glad you had a GREAT time at your reunion!!! You said not many of you changed? Well, the 25th will tell :o) LOL!!!! And, we never feel as old as we are when we get together with our classmates_it's high school all over again :o) I can't WAIT until the 11th of August!!! That childhood friend I said checked the mailing list, and it went out for both the 30th and 35th class reunion for me, after 30 years of life on our own, we found one another again and she is coming down to see us!!!! Neither one of us can wait. She said she really mellowed out, wait until she sees how mellowed out I am!!!! Have a GREAT day one and all !!!! Karen, I am STILL working on that Glenside musings :o) Lynn PS I guess I better keep pizza frozen for when all the visitors come :o) OR a BIG thing of chili :o) OR steak for making cheese steaks_that would feed a lot :o) Let's see, what else can I freeze for unexpected company? What dessert freezes well for that purpose? Sally wrote: > Tee Hee Hee! I told all my relatives and friends to stop by and visit you > soon, Just a few hundred!!
