    3. On Sunday we traveled the PA turnpike to attend the Renaissance Festival near West Newton. We were only on the turnpike for about an hour. I never saw so many State Troopers patrolling before. Labor Day weekend must be lucrative for the state! 3. Hi everyone! Always nice to hear what everyone is up to these days. :-) We really didn't do that much this weekend since I had to work, but late Sunday afternoon we did drive southeast from where we live to the Lake of the Woods near Bremen, IN. Then we drove into Bremen and ate supper at McDonald's. We always order off the Dollar Menu ordering 3 McChickens, one large fries to split, and three drinks. We had the whole place to ourselves. Saturday night for supper we built a bonfire out back and roasted hot dogs. With all the rain we've had, the mosquitoes were awful so we didn't stay outside for very long. Monday we drove over to Michigan City, IN to shop at Lighthouse Place Outlets. I needed a new shirt and bought 3 new ties at Van Heusen, and bought a new glass storage dish at the Corning Ware store to replace the one my dad broke the other day. Since my parents and I always split up when we shop, I didn't know they had bought a dish, too. :-) We ate lunch at Arby's and started for home. My parents split a Market Fresh Turkey sandwich and I had the whole thing, large curly fries, and 3 drinks. Just as we turned onto to our road to where we live, my parents van up and died. Luckily we stalled not far from where my Uncle Harold keeps his tow truck. We called my brother Terry on the cellphone to come and pick us up and the van was towed to Harold's garage. Harold rebuilt our engine a year ago, but we think its something else. My parents bought this van new in 1993. That's about it.
