Pat, I am sorry for your family's loss. The holidays, especially Christmas, must have been very difficult for the family. I cannot begin to imagine how horrible the grandfather must feel. John Wayne was 11 and out hunting on a special day Georgia had held for father and sons. John Wayne went out with his grandad and never returned. You see the gun went off and John Wayne died of a gunshot wound to his head. Everything that man could do was done for this youngster. ..all in vain for the Lord had other plans for John Wayne. Knowing that John Wayne was saved just last spring is a comforting joy for us but we will always miss him.
