Hey, List! Is anyone out there? There haven't been any messages for a few days..... Hugs, Mary
Hello All! I am still here in Newton, New Jersey ( the north eastern part of the state.) It is very cold. The weather report says wind chill is 2 degrees. All I know it is cold. And when it is cold I have this desire to eat. I had some butterscotch pudding and a bunch of potato chips, It better get warm or I will weigh a ton!!! I am trying to pack because I am going to a scrap book retreat for 3 days with my girlfriend in Richmond Virginia. She asked me if I wanted to go. She works for a scrapbook company part time in addition to her regular job because she loves it so much, She has gotten me started on doing scrapbooks and its so much fun. So I will be gone for almost 3 weeks. I will be making one for my daughter this time, I have already made one for my husband and one for a girl from Bavaria who visited us this summer. Wow Richard you sure do have a lot of snow. Is there an icing of ice on all your snow. Maybe we need to come up with a topic for all interested to put their input out via e mail. How about what is your favorite comfort food to have during a cold spell or snow storm. One thing that I have done with my family is to have a picnic during a snow storm. I have salads, baked beans, pickles and hot dogs and hamburgers, we put a tablecloth down on the floor in front of the big patio doors. Turn on the outside light and eat our summery picnic for dinner watching the snow fly!! My family gets the biggest kick out of having a picnic in the snow. The best part is no sunburn and no bugs!!! OKay who wants to go next with a little story or comfort food. Hugs to all and a Happy New Year filled with good Health and Happiness. xoxo Sally ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Berkheiser" <reberkheiser@earthlink.net> To: <padutch-life@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, January 04, 2010 10:59 PM Subject: Re: [PD-LIFE] Any body out there??? > I'm still here! :-) > > We have over a foot of snow on the ground from several days of lake effect > and its been rather chilly. :-) > > Rick B > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Mary Sayman > To: padutch-life@rootsweb.com > Sent: Monday, January 04, 2010 3:21 PM > Subject: [PD-LIFE] Any body out there??? > > > Hey, List!
