    3. Hey Everyone!    I made bean soup today. My dad called and asked me to come in early today and when I got to the house I saw a bag of beans laying on the counter and thought that would sound good and warming for dinner. He then came out and said my sister called and suggested that I make bean soup for dinner if I was going to be there early in the day. I guess great minds think alike!! Also made a pan of pretty good cornbread. Yum, yum!!   tracy

    3. I made Chicken 'n' corn soup today. We will eat it tomorrow after it has time to meld the flavors a bit. I'll make oatmeal rolls to go with it. It has been in the single digits each morning at 5:30. Hasn't made 30 degrees in about a week or so. This is the longest, coldest weather Georgia has has since 1985. 3. Mary, I use the oatmeal bread recipe I sent the list a while ago. I add enough flour to be able to kneed and rise once. Punch it down to rest. Butter your hands and pinch off some dough and shape. Cover and let raise again. Bake 15 minutes at 450 the turn down to 400. Bake. A sharp rap of your knuckles should get a hollow sound and then they are done.
