Wish I could share this warm weather with you. Goodness, 33.1 inches of snow is a lot more than I would like to see! Haven't seen anything like that since I left PA in 1964. Well, I guess we did see snow like that in Germany in the late 60's and in Korea in the 80's, but not here. We did have about a half inch a couple weeks ago. I think the record snowfall in our town is 18 inches which was in 1977. We were still in Italy at the time, and we had the first recorded snowfall where we lived. It is 7:10 PM and it is still 55 degrees on the back porch. It was warm enough this evening that I cooked fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and curly fries for our grand daughter. It is supposed to be like this again tomorrow. I must say we are having above average temperatures, and no rain so far this year. We only had half of our normal rainfall last year, so we may be in a hurt come summer time. Sally, come on and make some chicken soup, sure sounds good. All went well today. They only found one small polyp and they removed that. Hopefully if I can get rid of this air in my body and get a good nights rest I will be at the church tomorrow afternoon and evening. Don in AZ
Hi Don: Glad to hear such a good report. Sitting on your back poarch with 55 degree weather sounds peacefully beautiful. Keep moving it will get the air moving. We are 16 degrees in Newton NJ. At least the wind has died down, that makes it feel warmer, I just keep thinkiing Spring. If I could get there I would make you your soup, Pleasant dreams Don. Hope you get a good nights sleep. xoxo Sally ----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Churchfield" <dctrk@c2i2.com> To: <padutch-life@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 05, 2010 9:16 PM Subject: [PD-LIFE] Weather > Wish I could share this warm weather with you.
