    3. You are right about that. I hear the kiki birds calling here! ("ki---ki---ki---- criminy, it's cold!!!) As much as I love Christmas, I'm glad it's over. My stepson, Bryan; his wife, Melinda; and their two boys, Mitchell and Evan, were here Saturday for the first time since Dale and I were married 3 1/2 years ago. It was another step in the right direction of closing the gap in my husband's and son's relationship. I think the fact that Bryan nearly lost his Dad this year was a wake up call. It certainly was time that they realized how important they are to each other. Now we will work on spending more time with them. Any way, I'm not used to having two little ones (10 and 6) around, so I was really worn out by the time they left. I blew my hip out (sacro-iliac joint) two days before Christmas, so that takes a lot out of me, too. The good thing is that we are gaining light every day; and every day slowly brings us closer to spring. YAY!!! 3. Mary, Yes, I can identify with your dilemma of having a smaller child around. My son, N is so active, but am successful in getting him to play with guys, cowboys & Indians or army guys nowadays more & more! I used to do that allot, with Johnny west & horses when I was way older! But also good things come out of disasters, like a nillness with families so far apart nowadays. Just wantin to put my two cents in! Take care, All, Cathy About the only good thing I've heard of is a wedding in the planning stages for fall in OH. I'm certainly hoping to go because its for a nephew that I felt I helped raise for some of his childhood, because his mother worked, & I watched him grow! I've not been able to be near him lately, so been wanting to help there somehow, so I pray somehow I can go! ----- Original Message ----- From: Mary Sayman <marysaerie@stny.rr.com> To: padutch-life@rootsweb.com Sent: Mon, 4 Jan 2010 15:50:59 -0500 (EST) Subject: Re: [PD-LIFE] Any body out there???
