His health has gotten worse since he was admitted, first he had a mild heart attack and now he can no longer swallow even baby food.  He will be fed intravenious. The last couple of days, he wasn't even alert enough to know that I was there.  I'm bracing myself to the fact that the end is near.  He's 88 yrs old.
