I have already started to do this over the years. Gave away one of my Mom's rings to oldest daughter last Christmas. Hard to let go but know she will treat it with care and love it as much as I did. You really can't get the well made stuff anymore at a cost we can afford. I would not have the money to purchase what I now own. So much for inflation.
