    2. At the risk of sounding like an advertisement I'd suggest you look into Dreamfield's pasta. I don't know how they do it but they manage to make a great-tasting pasta (spaghetti, noodles, linguini, etc.) that doesn't raise your glucose level nearly as much as ordinary pasta. I tried other whole grain and low carb pastas but they tasted horrible. I like whole grains but not in pasta...the Dreamfield's tastes great and just like "normal" pasta but doesn't raise your sugar--and I've tested it out. <g> Joan PS: As for breads I limit myself to Arnold's 100% whole wheat lite bread that only has 40 calories a slice and 8 carbs. Most cheeses are not high in carbs. In a message dated 3/12/2010 11:25:18 A.M. She told me to watch what I eat especially my carbs and fats because my tryglicerides were 240 and my glucose was 128. Said to be very careful. Do you have any suggestions as what I could eat. I am a and I hate to say it this way but I am a Pa Dutch girl and love, love, LOVE my noodles and potatoes, and Breads. And of course Cheese and all the other bad things. Have you found any good ways to deal with this, I am a little upset and don't want it to get any worse, I am feeling tired and antsy lately is that a symptom? Any suggestions really appreciated, Sally

    3. Thank you Joan. I do love pasta and there is so much you can do with it. I hope my store will carry it. I will look for the Dreamy one even if I have to travel, Thank you Kathy too. My doctor said my tryglycerides are 240 and my glucose is 128. so I guess I have to be very good. I think because I have had to retire I can't be as active as I was and that is probably a problem too. I weigh 123 so he is not really worried about weight but he is about the other two blood levels. Thanks all.
