Cathy, Thank you for asking. My husband is doing very, very well. He feels better than he has in many years. How wonderful and awesome that you are going to be teaching. What grade, or what subject? I'll keep my fingers crossed and be here to listen to your stories. I'm sure you'll have a few! Your welcome Mary! My neighbot just lost his wife, is in the hospital, I think he's lost hope, but hope not. I'm going to try to go to the hospital soon! He just misses his wife! He had chemo treatments, maybe find out what he likes to eat & cook for him!? They were such a wonderful couple! I need to watch out for others children, because I love them so much! No matter whose children they are, but it's alittle backward here. They're so defensive! Not like up north! we all shared the responsibility of things there! I'm so glad I'm on this list! The last few days has been wonderful & things are warming up, & already growing, but a nice change, but am still enjoying the weather. My son & the neighbors went to the park & went down to see my daughter, today after she's taken a few days away! And then popped over for a long awaited visit! I'm learning so much patience, but wish I had already, but maybe supposed to be that way in my life at this time! And still losing weight finally! Wonder if the doctor will be surprised that I've lost almost 15 pounds! Woo hoo! And counting! Hoping to get to about 150 or below! Wow, Cathy! You are always on the go, doing for everyone. I'm sure the gentleman neighbor will appreciate how caring and how giving you are. It is very difficult for older people when they lose their spouses. Some never get over it. Probably keeping busy helps you keep your mind occupied so you don't worry about your daughter so much. My cousin has become a 'grandma' in one of the pre-school classes. She loves it and the children love her. I think that's because she still knows how to be a kid, and still maintain a sense of discipline. Congratulations on the weight loss. I need to get started again. Winters are very bad for me. I want to crawl into my cave and hibernate because of my S.A.D. With the onset of longer days and wonderful sunshine, I am beginning to feel a little better. I'll soon be able to get out and walk the dog again. YAY!!! I have a great dislike for the cold. Part of it is having to put on heavy clothing, boots, gloves, hats, coats, muffs, scarves, heat-exchanger mask......... well you get the picture. By the time I get through layering, if everything was white, I'd look like Mrs. Michelin Tire Man or Mrs. Pillsbury Doughboy. We want to have a virtual birthday party for all the PA Dutch people on our list. Is your kitchen table available?? Cathy is making a German Chocolate Cake with cocoanut, Mary a fresh fruit platter with an awsome yummy dip. I will bring a white cake with a mocha icing and fresh strawberries. Can you put on a pot of coffee and one of tea? Anybody else out there want to join us around the table? Cathy, Bryan is doing well. He's been working mega hours (70.5 last week)! This week looks to be the same if it doesn't rain. He's made some new arrowheads, knife blades and spearheads. When he has time I'll get him to get them out and I'll take pics and send to you. I'm very glad you like the arrowhead! We are still planning on being down that way again in November. I've got the whole b-day week planned. I'm hoping we can stop by again to visit! tracy --- On Mon, 3/8/10, Cathy wrote: & yours Tracy? We just adore the magnet arrowhead you gave us. It's gorgeus!
