    3. Marilyn, What a great idea or two. You are right! they would make great material for cards or thank you notes, too. The border papers would be especially 'delicious' to use: fold a piece in half and you'd have the front AND the back of the card all done except for the embellishments you could cut from the coordinating papers!!! LOL I'll have to start checking to see if I can get my hands on some of them. Home improvement stores always have outdated wallpaper sample books that they give away. I check each page to see that it isn't acidic but I've never found one that wasn't safe. They make great scrapbook pages or you can cut out the individual motifs and glue them on. There are often several pages with the same pattern in different colors and many have matching borders that can be cut down. The paper makes great drawer and shelf liners too. 2. The last I heard was that the stores were charging for them, but even so, I'm sure you could find one somewhere who would be willing to part with one. Maybe they have so many people asking for them, it is a money maker in hard times. We tried to get one for our daughter doll house her Dad made her to use for floor covering and walls. Not successful. I think I will try again. WE have 2 locals right nearby and just may work this time. Small town good feelings and all.
