Yes, I see them all the time.? Usually the snowballs are in some kind of cute packaging to suit the season--in the summer you can get white ones that are wrapped in cellophane to make them look like baseballs, in the fall, they are orange and the packaging adds stems and leaves to make them look like pumpkins, in the spring they are pink with long ears and a cotton tail printed on the cellophane, etc. I rarely eat them but when I do I scrape off the marshmallow and coconut and just eat the cake!? The filling inside those things is so sweet it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. --Debra -----Original Message----- From: Sheila Kline <sheilakline47@yahoo.com> To: PaDutch-Life@rootsweb.com Sent: Fri, 3 Aug 2007 12:00 am Subject: [PD-LIFE] Moon Pies & Other Sweets All the talk about moon pies, and those other delightful goodies, has reminded me of a sweet treat called "Snow balls"...the ones with the gooey marshmellow covering, was usually colored pink and then had cocoanut sprinkled on the gooey marshmellow covering. I remember that under that delightful coating was chocolate cake. Does anybody still find them?
