    3. "Mansfield Park", Lynn your going to have to tell me more, because I don't think I've ever seen or heard of that one?! What year did it come out & what's the plot? I find the music comforting, and the way they speak actually very charming!!! And, they use words that have long stopped being used in regular speaking here in the states...statements like "I'm mortified". In fact, I have Mansfield Park on right at the moment, because I wanted to hear what the one aunt brought home from a get-together they had. She said it was "a cream cheese". > :o) > Lynn > I wrote: > PS I'm all for going back to "English speaking" as the English do, in England, don't get me wrong. > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PADUTCH-LIFE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > > -- > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.5.484 / Virus Database: 269.12.10/977 - Release Date: 8/28/2007 4:29 PM

    1. [PD-LIFE] Jane Austin/Pets

    3. Hi Cathy!! Have you ever heard of the movie Persuasion? That's another good one to watch. Since I have this Chemical Sensitivity, and can't go hardly ANYwhere, especially to a movie theater, my husband gets all the versions of each of the GOOD Jane Austin movies for me. My brother-in-law, and sister-in-law always laugh when they come into our half of the house, because most times, I have one of these movies in, just for background noise ;o) LOL!!!!! I'm sorry, but they just relax me so much, and when you are that relaxed, your housework is a joy!!!! Espeicially when you have to do it everyday, just to keep the place halfway presentable. I'm sure once I have all this STUFF out of here, and once the cats are no longer living (and I'm not wishing them dead, believe me!!!!), and we can vent the dryer outside instead of into a little dryer vent thingy, it will be so much easier to keep clean. It's the lint, cat litter, and cat hair/fur that is present daily that drives me into crazy cleaning all the time :o) When your husband thanks God that you have a computer just so he sees you sit for more than 5 minutes at a time, you know you must be constantly doing, doing, doing. I just don't recognize it. He laughs, even when he comes in the house, because he sees the Jane Austin DVD playing for Lexus, and I'm often off somewhere doing something. Well, Lexus even likes them. WE catch her watching what is going on on the TV many, many times_only she doesn't sit in front of it like the RCA Victor dogs did. No, she is the lazy TV watcher. She is usually on her bed, looking up at it, and every now and then, she raises her head, and watches intently at some of the really good parts. Mike and I sit back and watch her_then look at one another and laugh!!!!! Once again, our pets are such a JOY!!!!!! and blessing! :o) Cathy wrote: "Mansfield Park", Lynn your going to have to tell me more, because I don't think I've ever seen or heard of that one?!
