I'll bet that WAS a sight!!! We only see them once in a while around these parts. I imagine they like the warmer, more consistant weather? Anyone know? Lynn Rick wrote: Hi everyone! This reminds me. For most of this summer we had a yellow Finch that would fly around our house for hours and peck at all the windows. It would flutter up to the big picture window in the Dining Room like it was trying to fly in. After it did that it would back off and sit on the thermometer for awhile trying to figure out why out why it couldn't fly straight through. This bird was really obsessed with this for a month. After we had a bad rainstorm a few weeks ago, we didn't see it anymore. It was pretty comical to watch the bird in action.
