Now, Lynn, as we used to say in the old days, you stop putting quotation marks around the word amn't when you use it in a sentence. Well, having lived with it for years, Betty and I are acutely aware of the agony that comes with a sore back. In German, it is called "Rückenschmerzen". We called it "rickshmatza" (back pain) or "rickdroovvel (back trouble). Begins with an "S" could be stenosis. From Wikipedia: Spinal stenosis is a medical condition in which the spinal canal narrows and compresses the spinal cord and nerves. This is usually due to the natural process of spinal degeneration that occurs with aging. It can also sometimes be caused by spinal disc herniation, osteoporosis, or a tumour. Spinal stenosis may affect the cervical spine, the lumbar spine or both. Lumbar spinal stenosis results in low back pain as well as pain or abnormal sensations in the legs. Have fun.
