    3. Yes, I believe they have a special timer inside, and once you set the clock, and have it running, it times am and pm, until it has 365 plus 1 week of days covered, then it blows, because they all lasted exactly a year and a day, with the exception of one which only lasted 6 months but Mike lost the paperwork for it, so that was a loss, and this last one, which lasted a year and a half...hey, it was better than the rest. I keep the paperwork now, and they last, as I said, 1 year a 1 week, most times. Once my old, cheapo Gold Star, that I got from K-mart 20 some years ago, went, I haven't had any luck with microwaves. When I think about it, that one didn't have a clock. Hmmmmm!!!! Now, I have a thought :o) Maybe I shouldn't set the clock, then it won't know how many days have past :o) We had completely dry roads, also, but the thunder and lightning was right NEAR us, NEAR enough to do my micro in, and surge quite a few times. Oh, as for 462. I tried to get Mike to take that road to work, because of him complaining a lot about Rt. 30. I said it's better on the nerves to take that road. So, one day he tried it, and sure enough he got behind someone going 25 miles an hour :o) I never have that_I always have smooth sailing on that road. Seems everytime we went to eat at Eat 'n Park on the East side of York, WITH MIKE DRIVING, a VERY slow, slow driver, constantly on the brake for no reason at all except maybe fluffing hair, or talking on a cell phone would get in front of us, and stay there all the way to the place where we could finally pass. When I drive, he warns me that at this exit or that road it's very bad driving and you can never get over easily, or you get behind the slow drivers_but, remember, I'm driving, and the roadway opens up, with hardly anyone on it, and I get over, or through, with ease :o) He gets so funny then, and says something about it's because I'm driving and he isn't_and can't believe it was a breeze for me, and why does it always have to be when he is driving that we get all the weird drivers around us. Well, when you got it, you got it, as the saying goes. :o) Lynn Debra wrote: I don't blame you for buying the cheap microwaves--I can't believe you've had to buy that many!? But that sure was an impressive storm--so weird how it seemed to be centered over Lancaster.? The roads were completely dry on the other side of town. I have to give Weather.com credit for nailing that one--they called for a t-storm in Lancaster at 1:00, and that's exactly what happened!
