    3. Well, I'm glad it isn't suppose to be strong, Tracy! Oh, I heard back from David, and he was on the bridge next to the one that collapsed the day before. He could hear the sirens for the collapse from where he lives. Lynn PS Does anyone know how I can get rid of that reply line that is next to Tracy's message. I don't remember that showing up before, but then again, I could be having a LUCY moment, and it has been there all the time. Some folks have >>>>s, I don't want those either. Thanks Tracy wrote: They're talking about a storm (possibly tropical) trying to start up in the Gulf and most likely will make landfall between the mouth of the Mississippi and the Big Bend area of Florida. 3. Tracy said, "I hope it remains calm. Although we do need some more rain". Amen to the first. We've had quite a bit of rain in Wesley Chapel recently. It rained all day today. In PA-D, one would say, "Es hut dair gans dawk heit gerairt", which translates literally as "It has the whole day today rained ". This little digression is by way of illustrating the difficulty of translating, word for word, from one language to another. The German word for hurricane is Hurrikan, which appears to be a germanization of the English word. Of course, you could also say Orkan or Wirbelsturm. Wirbel means "to whirl". Wirbelfluss for whirlpool and Wirbelwind for whirlwind. In PA-D, we said hurricane. Richard Emlin Reed Wesley Chapel, FL
