Oh, Anna...God Bless You and Yours!! I did not know your sister, Evelyn, but my heart weeps for you during this time of sorrow. I do believe that she is now in a better place, and will not have to suffer anymore, but this is not always what we who are left want to hear...although true, it does not take away the intense pain of losing a precious one. Sometimes, it is better to say, "I don't know what to say, but I do care about you!" Grief is such a complicated process, but please do grieve and cherish the beautiful times you had together, and the memories of times gone by. Tears are cleansing for the soul, and it o.k. to laugh, to feel even joy during this time of grief. I know for I have been there. Nothing will bring back my 16 year old son, Christopher, but I do have the memories of him cherished and tucked deep within my heart forever more. Please always hold your dear sister there, and know that we all sincerely care about you! And May the Lord give you a peace that passeth all understanding...may the great comforter reside within your spirit...may you be comforted when it seems as if there is none.
