My dad used to kill the baby pigeons whenever they weren't able to be kept because of over population, or "not from good parents", & used to just use a sharp tool to killl them, one whack! I used to watch from afar, & wonder why he was doing it,. but of course I understand the population problem. Sort of, but never ate them, though sometimes I wonder why! Though I don't think I would be able to clean them either! Becauser I loved them! So understand the sentiments of others listers.
