Connie, We,too live in a built up area in North Wilmington,De.,and we have a vixen and her pup in our backyard frequently. The Wilmington Journal had an article in the paper recently saying how wildlife is adapting better to humans than we are to them. Many areas where one would not expect to see fox,or other creatures are having sightings. The fox even come out in broad daylight to hunt if their young are hungry. Jerilyn
Wow, Jerilyn, that is quite a story.? I know when we lived in MA on Cape Cod, we had a great back yard that was bound by a fresh water pond with lots of trees and under brush there.? We had all sorts of wild life and even thought we saw a coyote.? Had many raccoons and a fox, etc.? I could have had a great stew with all that has been caught in our traps this past 2 months.? Squirrels, opossums and ground hogs.?
