Lynn asks, "I wonder where they got the name for St. Lawrence in Exeter Township?". St. Lawrence, ncorporated in 1927, was named for a brand name of wool made by William Brumbach. His wool mill was named the St. Lawrence Woolen Mill, the town took that as its name. St. Lawrence was also previously known as Esterly, named for the keeper of the defunct Black Bear Hotel, Frank Esterly.
