Here's a thought--it might have been eating bugs off the windows.? I've seen birds do this.? After it did that it would back off and sit on the thermometer for awhile trying to figure out why out why it couldn't fly straight through. This bird was really obsessed with this for a month. After we had a bad rainstorm a few weeks ago, we didn't see it anymore. It was pretty comical to watch the bird in action. I wish they would come get our spiders out front. Seems I no sooner get those buggers' webs down, they build them bigger and better! I was going to go out and get some down before the workers get here tomorrow, but I'm not going to do that until they come to do the porch. WOW! you just missed the workers, John and Joyce.
