    3. Speaking of Woodpeckers, we had one here in the neighborhood, that would peck at the copper flashing over at St. Pete's Catholic Church on the one corner of our block. What a NOISE that made, and I'm sure that Woodpecker's beak was awful sore after trying to get through that. I don't see how it stood all the noise it was making. It sounded like they were constantly working on the church roof :o) Lynn PS I'm jealous of all these yellow finches I'm hearing about. They are a very colorful bird, aren't they!!! I never saw one until I moved to Columbia. The first one I saw, I thought someone's bird got out, and I was out there trying to get it to come to me :o) Linda wrote: Here in south central PA we have tons of yellow finches.
