    3. Hi Sally! I have a picture of my mom, when she was a young girl, standing in their backyard, and I believe the tall flowers she is standing in front of are either Hollyhocks or Tall Flox. I've tried growing Tall Flox and it didn't do well, but they may do well out front_not that there is much room out there anymore, but I will make room :o) So, my idea for adding to the gardens for next year are: a Butterfly Bush_from my neighbor some Tall Flox and definitely Hollyhocks!!!! Thanks for all the feedback everyone on Hollyhocks!!! Glad it brought back some memories, too!!! :o) Lynn Sally wrote: HI Lynn: My grandfather loved his holllyhock! He always told me to "Hang on to your Hollyhocks!" He had beautiful ones that grew very tall. He lived just outside of Wilkes Barre, Pa in a town called Trucksville. I think your area would be wonderful. I think I want to get some. Ah Memories!!!!
