Skip Bo is the modern version of Flinch. My grandparents used to play Flinch in the early 1930s. I found a remake of the game online. It is fun to play, and goes quick.

Flinch is a great game for young children who are just learning their numbers... All my mother's grandchildren and great grandchildren love it (even to this day!!), as they learned it from her and Daddy when they were little ones! She was a teacher and even though you couldn't continue teaching after you were married 'in those days' she certainly influenced a lot of children!! She passed away last Feb, at 107!! I'm back from the trip to Ukraine and Czech Republic... will write a bit more about it soon... (Two months of catching up to do!!)
