Thanks, Charles!! WOW! If they grow there, I know we can grow them here. I was outside walking Lexus, and told a neighbor about growing Hollyhocks. His parents owned a farm, when they were living. He said they grew Hollyhocks at the sides of the house, but I don't have dirt anywhere near the house, so I will have to figure something else out. I might try growing them at the posts of the front porch, in big pots, and other places I might be able to sqeese them in. The neighbor pointed out that they have double ones now, and I told him that is what made me want to grow them so badly. We saw the same ad for the Peaches and Dreams Hollyhocks, in the paper.
