Yes, REO was the monogram of Ransom Eli Olds, founder of the Olds Motor Vehicle Company. I once owned a 1930 Reo Flying Cloud sedan. It had quarter inch steel fenders. New, it cost $1800. That's $22,000 in today's money. I bought it for $165 in 1937. The Reo Speedway was a truck. It may have been other things too; but there was a Reo Speedway truck.
