Speaking of museums, I LOVED going on our field trips to the Reading Museum. This was in the days before they built the Planitarium next to it. I really miss the walks Lindsey and I took around the grounds there almost every weekend. And, my mom took her there many times, too, and met some extremely nice people who fed a goose named Charlie. Charlie loved Lindsey, and there is a picture of Lindsey, Charlie, and Ed Oxenrider walking away from my mom, with Charlie right in the middle of them. It was such a cute picture, but I believe Mom sent Ed the print, and now I have to wade through thousands of picture negatives to try to find it to have prints made. The sad thing about this is that some rotten people raced through the museum one day and ran over our Charlie. Lindsey was crushed!!!!!!! as was everyone else who experienced this goose's friendship. We had a picture of Charlie wearing Ed's baseball cap, too, wonder where that negative is? One of these days, when I have nothing to do (cough, cough) I'll have to look for those pictures. Thanks, Karen, for the announcement of the museums free passes for Sept. 29th. Wish I could take advantage of them. Sounds like a really interesting time could be had in visiting the many museums involved. Lynn Karen wrote of the free admission passes for museums.
