That is such a cute story, Don! Yes, your wife sounds like me, with Mom's winter fly, when I was a little girl. Every year, the very last fly would become my pet_mostly Mom's though. I would let some sugar on the kitchen table for it, and when we turned the light off, it would sit on the red Christmas bells hanging from the ceiling. We would count to about 10, and then turn the light on again. Sure enough the fly would be there, put to bed for the night :o) I know, flies are dirty, but we always figured that the ONE winter fly made it that far into the year, it was living in the house somewhere already. It would usually drown in the dish water or someone's glass. You always had to make sure to check your glass before drinking :o) Mom was caught by the police trying to resuscitate a wasp that had gotten into the house. Long story :o) Had to do with either the riots of the 70s, or the invader of the 60s. Now, flies drive me crazy if they get into the house. :o) Lynn Don in AZ wrote: > The Gecko is a funny little creature.
