    2. Connie- You are speaking about VISTA as if there is something WRONG with VISTA and that really isn't true. VISTA is an excellent and stable operating system provided all of the patches and Service Pack #1 are installed AND provided you are not attempting to use outmoded peripherals with it. VISTA is much more stable than XP and earlier Operating Systems and also handles multimedia and graphics much more smoothly than XP. Some people who used VISTA 64 bit find that older 32 bit programs don't run well but there are very few problems with the 32 bit version of VISTA with service pack 1 installed. Eventually 64 bit will be standard--but we are still in a transition period and many older programs can't run on the 64 bit VISTA at this time. Also, users who attempt to use VISTA and don't have sufficient RAM often run into problems. VISTA works best with a minimum of 3 GIGs RAM although MS says it will run on 2 GIGs--just not very well. <g> Joan In a message dated 1/16/2009 1:45:41 P.M. I hope so.? Connie
