Tracy, If you have ice cube trays, you can actually freeze ice cubes and fill the ice maker tray with them. Then you can have smaller cubes or crushed ice. I do that because to run a water line to my new refrigerator would be a miserable job, and then I'd worry about leaks. When I redo the kitchen, I'll make provisions for the water line, but until then, that's what I do. Lynn, A Magic Bullet is a very small blender type set-up. It comes with a base and 4 cups, with lids and rings. You can make frozen drinks with them and a bunch more stuff. The info- mercial shows them making Alfredo sauce, salsa, drinks; grating hard cheeses, grinding coffee and microwaving right in the cup. They cost about $50 but can be found on sale for $40 or so. I received one for my birthday but have not used it yet. I can't wait until my hubby sets up ice maker in fridge so I can have ice cubes. Then I want to make shakes (ice, milk, flavorings). The Magic Bullet looks very easy to use and clean according to infomercial. I think Walmart carries them. Mine was bought at Kohl's. I've seen them at Sears. Drats about the GT Express! I really wanted one of those. :o( tracy --- On Sun, 1/25/09, Lynn wrote: A Magic Bullet? How much do they cost, and what all do you use one for?
