    2. I use regular soil also.? I have 2 left.? Does the sand keep off the mites that attack them? Connie -----Original Message----- From: Lynn Vondran <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Mon, 26 Jan 2009 1:39 pm Subject: [PD-LIFE] Aloe Vera Plants Thanks, Cathy! I'll have to get some sand, when we go shopping next time in York. Never thought of that, because my neighbor ALways just used regular old potting soil, and never had a problem, except to get RID of them all each year. But, maybe I should try the sand factor anyway. Hugs! 3. Hm, never had mites attack my plants, indoors. Well, can't say that, because I did have them attack my Chinese Pepper Plant, or was it Ornamental Pepper Plant_either name, they attacked that plant. But, never had them attack the Aloe, or Spider. 2. It is a sucker type of thing.? It is brown and can be removed with an alcohol soaked Q-tip. My neighbor knows the name, but I can't think of it now.?
