I don't know if I have the book that came with the blender when I bought it for her that one Christmas. Maybe I still do have that thing, and should look to see if you can grind your coffee in it. I looked up the bullet blender and the top is plastic so not sure if there will be a smell or not.? I'm sure you picked up on that.?
