    3. Well, I'm glad it isn't suppose to be strong, Tracy! Oh, I heard back from David, and he was on the bridge next to the one that collapsed the day before. He could hear the sirens for the collapse from where he lives. Lynn PS Does anyone know how I can get rid of that reply line that is next to Tracy's message. I don't remember that showing up before, but then again, I could be having a LUCY moment, and it has been there all the time. Some folks have >>>>s, I don't want those either. Thanks Tracy wrote: They're talking about a storm (possibly tropical) trying to start up in the Gulf and most likely will make landfall between the mouth of the Mississippi and the Big Bend area of Florida. It shouldn't have enough time to sit and gather hurricane strength before it hits land. The Gulf waters are very warm right now. They're also saying the season is finally getting started. I hope it remains calm. Although we do need some more rain.

    1. [PD-LIFE] cute joke...Ham Sandwich
    2. Tracy
    3. Hi List, I received this cute joke the other day and just can't quit giggling at it for some reason. I almost fell off my chair laughing. As ham sandwiches go, it was perfection: a thick slab of ham on a fresh Bun with crisp lettuce and plenty of expensive, light brown, gourmet Mustard. The corners of my jaw aching in anticipation, I carried it to the table in our backyard, picked it up with both hands but was stopped by my wife suddenly at my side. "Here, hold Johnny (our six-week-old son) while I get my sandwich", she said. I had him balanced between my left elbow and shoulder and was reaching again for the ham sandwich when I noticed a streak of mustard on my fingers. I love mustard. I had no napkin. I licked it off. It was not mustard. No man ever put a baby down faster.... It was the first and only time I have sprinted with my tongue protruding. With a washcloth in each hand, I did the sort of routine shoeshine boys do; only I did it on my tongue. Later, after she stopped crying from laughing so hard, my wife said, "Now you know why they call that fancy mustard 'Poupon'." We have a same-theme story in the family involving my great-niece and her father. I just can't remember if he smelled or tasted. We still tease him about it! tracy ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for a deal? Find great prices on flights and hotels with Yahoo! 3. Hi All, Hope no one has lost anyone in that terrible bridge collapse in MN!!! I emailed David Patterson to make sure he wasn't anywhere near it. Hopefully I will hear back from him soon. I heard from him a couple months ago, but nothing since. Have any of your heard from him lately? Thanks! Lynn PS Karen, I'm still working on Glenside. Have had so many things come up around here to tend to, but wanted you to know to keep looking for a post from me :o) Have you read any of the posts in the archives?
