    3. No I haven't seen "Fat March" yet. I've been letting Mike watch his Hogan's Heroes DVDs, and then we watch Color Splash. But, he does watch Biggest Loser with me, without too much complaining :o) If he does complain, it's teasingly, just like when I told him it was starting up again he wrote back, "ooooooooooooooh, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :o)" Sorry Andrea, that I don't have an answer for you on the tread mill workings, and what to do about it. I did once get my foot caught in the belt, but when it pulled me back, the little clip that you put into the machine, that also attaches to you, shut it down immediately. I was looking around for the cat, and next thing you know, "Thar she goes!!!!" Hope you can figure out what is wrong, and get it taken care of as soon as possible. We still haven't gotten a TV hooked up, upstairs where the tread mill is. Now that would be a way to make Mike happy, but then I would have to have someone tape it, and watch it up there, because we only have one TV on cable, and I have never figured out how to watch something else, while taping something on another channel. I guess it can be done? Well, hope you didn't hurt yourself too badly, Andrea!!! I know when I did it, it was more of an embarrassment than it hurt :o) Thank God the cat is no longer curious about the treadmill anymore. I agree, Celebrity Fit Club is no where near as good, because they really get NASTY with each other! Well, have to go turn the Pride n Prejudice DVD over. Welcome to the list, Andrea!!! :o) Lynn PS I've still got it with making my cookie muffins!!!! I can't wait until they are OUT of the HOUSE_they are too tempting! Tracy wrote: Lynn, You beat me to it! I was going to tell you today but you already told us! Have you been watching "Fat March" on ABC on Mondays? Same type show, different way to do it. My knee was skinned by the moving belt ouch! I think the impact of my fall is what made the belt stop moving. Now the belt won't move when I hit start. I don't know if the impact of my fall broke something or whatever made it speed up to make me fall was the cause. There is a big sticker on it that says "10 year motor warranty" & I've had it less than 4 yrs. Anyone ever had a treadmill fail or have to get it repaired? Lynn Tracy wrote: Lynn, You can get peripheral neuropathy in your whole body. My brother's started in his hands (they thought it might be carpal tunnel and did surgery). Tingling and slight numbness, then stabbing pains, onto shooting PAINs. Now he has lost alot of feeling and drops stuff all the time. His feet started with loss of feeling and now he has "drop foot" (where the foot won't properly lift and it drags on the ground, not real bad but does make him stumble)and can barely feel anything. Has to keep a good eye on hands/feet for wounds (punctures), sores, cuts, blisters. He also falls quite a bit too. tracy ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for a deal? Find great prices on flights and hotels with Yahoo! 3. WOW!!!!! Now that is quite an interesting addition to the subject for sure. Though I've never had it done, and only know one person who has (well, now two), I'm sure someone on the list has learned something from this!!!! Let me ask. When someone goes in for gastric by-pass surgery, do they warn the person that this can happen? Just curious!!! Thanks, Becky!!! Lynn Becky wrote: Hello all! They are really good, especially the taste of PB in them. I just might have to taste test one from the batch, JUST to make SURE that they came out right. Thanks again, one and all for the GREAT discussion on Stenosis and Peripheral Neuropathy!!! This is wonderful! Not the fact that so many have this and are aware of what it is, but the fact that I got the facts down good in my family research notes, for two of my relatives!!!! :o) Lynn PS Try to sell that fix to Rootsweb, Rick!!! 3. Well, some of that is interesting reading, except the words are alittle advanced for me to understand too! My dad was in pain only a short time, & he smoked, but whatever this was I thought it strange that he was in pain, but reading this helped me to understand what he may'be went through, & help me to grieve his leaving me, so thanks for sending these web pages! It helps! He's been gone since 1992, but still grieving my loss! He was my best friend, sort of! We shared a love of birds, which I'll always have, so that's a good thing! I went to one of his buddies in OH on our visit, & gave my kids a tour of a pigeon coop, which was so fun for me! And introduced them to what I used to take for granted for 25+ years, & miss very much, & i get all excited when I do see one! And enjoyed them when I was visiting Pittsburgh too, because they're all over there!! Interesting to hear something that affected Vee too, on here! 3. My wife has peripheral neuroposy so severe that she had to quit driving. Her feet are so numb she can't feel the foot pedals. Her feet would slide off the brake and accelerator. She exercised good judgment by quitting before she had a collision. Only trouble is I now spend a lot of time at the hairdresser. Following is an excerpt from http://www.epodiatry.com/neuropathy.htm Peripheral neuropathy is a relatively common neurological disorder that results from damage to the peripheral nerves. The peripheral nervous system consists of motor (to help move) nerves and sensory (to help feel) nerves. Either or both sets of nerves can be affected in neuropathy. If a sensory nerve is damaged, the predominant symptoms are pain, numbness, tingling, burning or a loss of feeling. They often begin gradually. There may be a tingling sensation or numbness that starts in the toes and/or the balls of the feet and spreads upward. Occasionally the skin may become so sensitive that the slightest touch is agonizing. There may also may be a numbness, or a complete lack of feeling in the feet. This describes my wife's symptoms.
