Hi list, I'm looking for info on a William John MOORE, who was b. in Ireland & immigrated abt. 1885 to Philadelphia, PA. His wife Margaret &/or Jane GALAWAY, was b. in Co. Galaway & came over a few years later with four (4) of their children, (2) other children were b. later in Phila. or Chester, PA. Family rumor has it, William was brought over to run the HERTZEL -HETZEL Mill at Front & Lloyd St., in Chester. He & his family then lived in Chester & most are buried at Lawn Croft Cemetery in Lower Chichester, Delaware Co., PA. Their children are: Margaret MOORE Lived in Phila., was an actress & never married. She was a friend of Mary PICKFORD. Jane MOORE Lived in Phila., worked at a bank & never married. John MOORE No info. Sarah MOORE m. a KERSNICK (All the above children were b. in Ireland) William A. MOORE b. c1886 in Phila. or Chester, PA & d. 1932 in Chester m.
