    1. LAMPLUGH
    2. Good morning list, I very curious about this child Williet LAMPLUGH being buried at St. Martin's Cemetery in Marcus Hook, Delaware Co., PA. LAMPLUGH, Williet Son of Edward - Sabier LAMPLUGH Born 25 Dec 1693, Died 19 Apr 1694 Walter MARTIN did not deed the land for the church until 1699. This child is buried there 6 years prior to that date. Was there a cemetery on this land before the church? Did the Finns & Swedes use this as a cemetery before the English? I'm not familiar with the origin of the surname LAMPLUGH -- could anyone give me some background on it? I'm, also, not familiar with the given names Williet & Sabier -- could anyone tell me there origin? On a map -- Settlements on the 1638 Delaware River Valley Map of the Colony of New Sweden -- what today is "Marcus Hook" was then place called "Finland." Is there anyone doing research on Finns that would have settled in this area? Many thanks for any help or info! :) Happy hunting, Helen (DCGS)
