Hi Lynn, Things may have changed in the last few years, but the most recent info I have is that there is not an Historical Society for Media. There was, however, a Preservation Society: Media Historical Preservation, Inc., 610-566-5210 There is a collection of historic materials at the Media - Upper Providence Library at 1 East Front Street, Media, PA 19063, Phone: 610-566-1918; http://www.medialibrary.org Also, the Borough website (http://www.mediaborough.com) has this info: Historic Archives Commission (members: 5 / term: 5 years) The Historic Archives Commission acts as custodian for any archival materials relating to the Borough of Media and the vicinity of the Borough of Media, consisting of but not limited to, photographs, slides, movie film, newspaper articles, electronic recording tapes or materials, historic notes, memorabilia, artifacts, and archeological findings. They maintain a display for public use at the library. The Commission can be contacted at historicarchives@dca.net Hope this helps, Rick At 10:49 PM 2/5/2007, you wrote: >Does Media have a Historical Society or Commission?
