    1. Re: [PADELAWA] Boy Scout badge information

    3. It's strange, but I find very little interest by the BSA in preserving history of the early days of Scouting. My father was a Boy Scout in Phila. from about 1912-13. I have his Smokey the Bear hat he wore in Parades in that city. I also have his whistle from his uniform. I know my Dad was instrumental in developing the Treasure Island Camp in the Delaware River; years later a man younger that Dad told me he had worked under him at Treasure Island in the early days. I can't seem to get any Scout officials interested in my Dad's memoribilia nor can I find anyone interested in Treasure Island. It is from Camp Delmont and dated 1924. I wonder if there would be records anywhere that would state what was done to earn that badge?
